ABOUT ME

Dr. Brusly, a simple and easily approachable personality, hails from a small village in the southern tip of India. He usually works with a group of Ph.D aspirants across the nation, researchers from industry and academia, and researchers from national and international universities.

Dr. Brusly is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS), Coimbatore. He received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the same Institute in 2014. Then he pursued his Postdoctoral research in the Thermo fluids Research Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Ablaze with expertise

More than 16 years of experience in designing and characterizing various types of heat pipes (around 400 numbers) for many industrial applications.

Habitually Ingenious

Designed cooling systems that provide a competitive edge over traditional cooling systems combining nanotechnologies and magnetization in conventional cooling systems.

Glimpses of Research

Dr.Brusly has been working on electronic cooling (in space and ground applications), renewable energy systems, drying systems, and heat flux sensor technology etc… Some of the key highlights and strengths of research activities are given below

Heat pipe

Heat Pipes

Expertise in developing various types of heat pipes including Pulsating heat pipes, Loop heat pipe, Thermosyphons, Flexible heat pipes, anodized heat pipes and Vapour chambers for cooling applications.
